Prospectus: Shadowscapes
PROSPECTUS: Shadowscapes: The Interplay of Light and Shadow
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Monday, March 17th, 2025
"Light is the magician that turns the mundane into the extraordinary." – Anonymous
Photo Artfolio invites photographers worldwide to submit their work for Shadowscapes, an online exhibit celebrating the dynamic interplay of light and shadow. This exhibit explores the power of illumination to transform, the allure of darkness to conceal, and the striking moments where the two converge.
Through the lens of light and shadow, photographers can reveal dramatic compositions, evoke moody atmospheres, or craft stunning abstractions. Whether it’s the glow of sunlight slicing through a misty forest, the sharp contrast of urban silhouettes, or the delicate gradations of chiaroscuro, we welcome your unique interpretations.
Submissions are open to all forms of photography, including portraiture, documentary, landscape, abstract, and conceptual work. AI-generated imagery is not eligible for consideration.
The top three images will receive awards of 1st place: $500, 2nd place: $300, and 3rd place: $100, respectively. All images must be submitted by Monday, March 17th, 2025, at midnight MST. Photographers will receive notification of acceptance by Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, when our online exhibit opens.
