Photo Artfolio invites photographers worldwide to submit their work to our online exhibit, "Travel Dreams."

As the year winds down and we reflect on our journeys, it's a perfect moment to relive the adventures that have shaped us—whether taken across the globe or just around the corner. "Travel Dreams" invites you to capture the essence of travel, whether it's a far-off destination or the hidden beauty of your own community. We encourage photographers to share the emotions, stories, and moments that made each experience memorable. This exhibit celebrates the spirit of exploration and the unique perspectives that come from immersing ourselves in new environments and cultures.

We welcome all forms of photography, including but not limited to landscape, portraiture, documentary, street photography, conceptual, and abstract. Note that this call is open to all forms and categories of photography with the exception of AI-generated work.

The winning images will receive awards of 1st place: $500, 2nd place: $300, and 3rd place: $100, respectively.

CALENDAR: All images must be submitted by Monday, October 7th, 2024 at midnight MST. Photographers will receive notification of acceptance by Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 when our online exhibit opens.

AWARDS: All accepted pieces will be displayed in our online gallery at www.photo-artfolio.com. First Place: $500, Second Place: $300, Third Place $100.

ENTRY FEE: $25 for first entry. $5 for each additional image. You may enter up to 20 images in total. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

ELIGIBILITY: This call is open to photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional.

RULES: All work submitted must be original work created and owned by the submitting photographer. This call is open to all forms and categories of photography with the exception of AI-generated work.

ENTRY PROCEDURE: Entry is done through CaFÉ, a web-based service that allows artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submissions to galleries. To apply for a call, go to the CaFÉ website at www.callforentry.org where you can create a FREE artist account. You will add your details and upload your images to CaFÉ and then you can submit work to “Travel Dreams”. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@photo-artfolio.com.

IMAGE PREPARATION: All images must be in JPEG format using CaFÉ guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side. Maximum file size is 5 mb.

NOTIFICATION: Notification will be done by email and everyone who submits will be notified of the final selections. If for any reason you do not hear from us by the notification date, please check the filters in your email account or check your spam box. Notification emails are sent to the email on file with CaFÉ. Each show is curated and juried by Creative Director, Julia Cumes, along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Please note, there is no personal feedback given by jurors.

SALES: All sales inquiries will be directed to the photographer’s website and photographers receive 100% of the sale of their work.  

REGULATIONS: By entering our calls for art through CaFÉ you agree to be added to Photo Artfolio’s email list for forthcoming updates and artist opportunities. By submitting images, you agree that the images are your own work, that you own all rights to the images and that you take full responsibility for the content of all images, including the likeness of recognizable individuals. You will retain all rights to your work. Should your work be accepted, you grant Photo Artfolio the right to display your image/s on our website, on social media, and wherever else we deem appropriate to help promote our online exhibitions. Photo Artfolio will always credit you wherever feasible. We will not use your image/s for any other purpose without your permission.
